FAQs

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, we require a non-refundable deposit to secure your placement for picking your puppy. We work on a first come basis; your ability to pick your puppy is determined by the order you get your deposit in. If for whatever reason timing doesn’t work for you to take home your puppy, your non-refundable deposit will be transferred to future litters.

Are your puppies health guaranteed?

We do everything we can to ensure you are purchasing a genetically healthy puppy. In the unlikely event there should be an incident of death believed to be the result of a genetic disorder, an autopsy (at the expense of the owner) to determine the cause of death will be required. If the results come back that the cause of death was genetic, we will refund the amount of purchase or replace your dog with another from Dog Mom Co.

What if I determine the puppy is not a good fit for my family?

At Dog Mom Co., we require the puppy be returned to us and there will be no refund given. The reason we do this is because of the amount of care and time we put into each of our puppies and vetting the families our babies go to. We don’t say,  “yes” to every family that wants one of our babies; we need to determine that it is in the best interest of our dogs as well. Because of this process and promise of commitment from our families, if you feel the dog isn’t the best fit for you, they must be returned to the Dog Mom Co family.

Does My Dog Come Vaccinated?

Yes, your dog will come with up to date vaccinations, de-worming, and veterinarian stamp of approval for going to their new home.

Do you require a spay/neuter agreement?

Dog Mom Co. puppies are sold on a STRICT NON-BREEDING and MANDATORY SPAY/NEUTER contract, unless buyer has purchased breeding rights from Dog Mom Co. Buyer agrees to spay or neuter this puppy no later than 10 months of age.  Male vasectomies are not accepted. Buyer must send proof of completed spay/neuter to Seller via e-mail or text no later than the puppy being 10 months old. Upon the placement of your deposit you will be required to sign our puppy agreement and provide us with your veterinarian information. We do this for the health and safety of our puppies.
